Professional & Business Services
We only recommend people and services that we have used or our clients have used. Need something that you don't see here? Ask us.
Most of these folks are great for those in the Greater Philadelphia Area & New Jersey. Since state laws vary, you'll want to find someone local to you for accounting and insurance.
Legal
John Gerber :: Gerber Growth Even if we didn't work in the same building, John would still be our lawyer. He offers legal services and counsel to help start-ups and companies grow, from incorporation to strategy. He is our, and many of our client's and colleagues go-to for all contracts, agreements, incorporation, merger deals, and savvy business-related legal advice. We wouldn't want to run our business without John, and we don't think you should either. contact@gerbergrowth.com
Accounting
John Sullivan :: Sullivan Strategic Our very own accountant, who we cannot sing enough praises for. John is an extremely responsive CPA, who specializes in small and mid-size businesses. Also used by many of our clients. john@sullivanstrategic.com
Payroll

Gusto Heartily recommend Gusto for easy-to-use one-stop shopping for folks new to hiring. They can set up everything from basic payroll to worker's comp and health insurance (and more...).
Tools & Tech
Our top app picks:
Moonclerk is how we do 90% of our billing and invoicing. It's an elegant option for recurring payments and payment plans, forms, and all sorts of other uses for accepting money.
Notion Life. Changing. Notion has replaced both Evernote and Asana for us as the hub for... well, almost everything. Please, join us in our cult-like fervor.
Acuity Scheduling If you schedule anything in your life with other people, please do humanity (and yourself) a favor and get an app. This is our favorite - connects to Google Calendar and eliminates so much email back and forth! There's a basic free version, but it's worth every penny to pay for this app.
Noko A fellow Philly-founded company yo! We use Noko for team time tracking with multiple clients/projects/lots of stuff going on, it's awesome and easy.
ConvertKit Emails! Love this platform; haven't regretted switching from the Chimp once.
